Message from the Honorary Consul

It is a great pleasure and honour for me to represent the interests of the Government and people of the Republic of Zambia in Nepal. I am sincerely grateful to the Zambian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their confidence in my abilities and for awarding me with such responsibility.

My main focus will be to explore and promote new investment opportunities in favour of Zambia and Nepal.

Zambia has progressed a lot despite being a land-locked country. As we all know, Zambia is a land of various prospects; mainly in the field of tourism, mining and other natural resources. A lot of things are yet to be explored and developed which has the potential to take Zambia to a new level.

Nepal and Zambia established diplomatic relations on 10^th September 1986 and since then there were several visits from both countries. Even though the relation is 35 years old, we have not done enough on binational projects, trade and investment yet and I hope I can achieve positive results and remarks on these matters.

I assure that I will be working towards establishing cooperation between Zambia and Nepal.
